PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock that fits to a shape, movement and a function of a foot when playing a sport frequently involving a forward-tilting position of a leg part as a base, and is easy to wear, maintains a posture and reduces a load.SOLUTION: A sock is the one that tilts further forward than a common sock, and performs well in a sport mainly involves a forward-tilting position. In the sock, a leg part direction axis and a foot part direction axis forms an angle of 90° or less on a foot front face, and a heel part is formed of trapezoid fabrics knitted by reverse knitting so that the oblique sides of the trapezoid fabrics as a common heel part form an angle of 45° or more. Then, the leg part is tilted further forward by joining the trapezoid fabrics with each other. Further, a contraction part is provided on the front face of an ankle to grant anti-tucking effect and to give forward-tilting angle to the sock. Still further, in the contraction part, ground yarn is not knitted and only back yarn is knitted by tuck stitches to enable reduction of the number of knitting courses and also to suppress the instep part from stretching, thereby the forward-tilting angle can be maintained. |
