PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment method of a to-be-sintered raw ingredient enabling the use of a difficult-to-granulate fine powdery raw ingredient by improving the granulation friendliness of the to-be-sintered raw ingredient and by retaining or improving the productivity of a sintered ore.SOLUTION: A binder consisting of either or both of quicklime and slaked lime is added to a to-be-sintered raw ingredient A group using a fine powdery raw ingredient including, as an iron ore, an ore powder of a size distribution including at least 50 mass% of 500 μm-under particles and no more than 5 mass% of 10 μm-under particles at a quantitative ratio, by the quicklime standard, of at least 0.5 mass% and no higher than 6 mass% with respect to the mass of the to-be-sintered raw ingredient A group, and subsequently, the resulting mixture is either pulverized by a pulverizer, agitated by an agitator, and then granulated by a drum-style granulator or pulverized by a pulverizer and then granulated by a drum-style granulator. |
