PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter having high degree of freedom in color design, in which a latent image having color changes in a printed matter is independent from optical properties of a functional material contained in an optical variable ink to be used.SOLUTION: A latent image printed matter having high degree of freedom in color design includes: a first image having a plurality of latent image elements arranged in a regular pattern, with a first colored hue; a second image having a plurality of transparent or translucent semi-cylindrical elements arranged in a regular pattern, with either one of light/dark flip flop properties and color flip flop properties, exhibiting a second hue for regular reflection light; and a third image having a plurality of reversal elements arranged in a regular pattern, with the first colored hue, making couples with latent image elements, respectively, so as to reverse the shade of the latent image elements. |
