PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted microscope attachable to or detachable from an optical device, the inverted microscope having a high degree of freedom in unit design, while maintaining high accuracy in positioning the optical device mounted in a microscope body and another optical device that carries out, for example, introduction of illuminating light into the optical device.SOLUTION: An inverted microscope 100 comprises: a microscope body 1 holding an objective lens 7a through which light from a sample S is passed, and an imaging lens 10b which images light passed through the objective lens 7a; a fluorescent mirror turret 8 arranged between the objective lens 7a and imaging lens 10b and attachable to or detachable from the microscope body 1; and an incident-light illuminating device 4 having a turret mounting part 31 connected to the fluorescent mirror turret 8. The microscope body 1 is provided with an aperture 9. The turret mounting part 31 is extended through the aperture part 9 and thereby connected to the fluorescent mirror turret 8. Thus, the incident illuminating device 4 is positioned to the fluorescent mirror turret 8. |
