The device has a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip arranged in an area of a medical-technical component for providing information e.g. dead space volume, regarding the medical-technical component. An inhaled gas pump is arranged in an interior area of an equipment housing (1) with an operator panel (2) and a display (3). A hose connector (5) is attached over a coupling (4). The equipment housing has an interface (8) for providing a data communication. An exhalation element (6) is arranged in the area of the expansion of the hose connector turned away to the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for identification of information about a medical-technical component. |
