In order to properly control an indoor air flow in various installation environments and stably purify air in a whole room, an air purifier (1) is provided with a casing (2), an air inlet (4), an air outlet (5), a fan (6), a purifying system (8), a movable louver (9), a louver driving portion (10), an opening varying mechanism (11), an opening driving portion (12), a rectification mechanism (13), a rectification driving portion (14), an oscillating mechanism (15), a contamination detector (16), an external detector (17), a controller (19), and the like. The wind direction of air blown out from the air outlet (5) is changed vertically between the forward direction and the upper direction by the movable louver (9) and changed horizontally by the oscillating mechanism (15). The external detector (17) obtains positional information of the air purifier (1) in the room. Furthermore, the controller (19) controls at least one blow parameter from among wind direction, volume, and speed of the blowout air on the basis of the positional information of the air purifier (1) so as to form a circulating air flow that causes the blowout air to circulate in the room and then return to the position of the air purifier (1). |
