PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression open brake device capable of suppressing noise occurring at brake operation.SOLUTION: An opening/closing valve 26 is provided at a connection part with an exhaust pipe 20 in an EGR pipe 21 of a diesel engine 1. When a piston 14 of a cylinder 12 reaches the vicinity of a top dead point of compression stroke, an ECU 25 opens an exhaust valve 17 and discharges compression air from an exhaust port 18, and performs control so that the opening/closing valve 26 is closed. Consequently, the discharged compression air is prevented from inflowing to the EGR pipe 21 that is a sound radiation portion. |
