PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when a device (a drive) cannot respond to a specific command output from a client PC (processor), there is no error process achieved, thereby achieving no virtual media function.SOLUTION: A computer system includes a processing circuit that, when recognizing that a drive is a device conformed to a USB mass storage class specifications, on the basis of USB device information, outputs a specific command to the drive for checking whether or not it is the device having a special function, when receiving an execution status representing an error to the specific command, regards the drive as the USB mass storage device conformed to the USB mass storage class specifications having no special function, and accesses thereto. |
