A homogeneous external elbow and knee reinforcement characterised in that it has profiling cut-outs (1.1, 1.2) and adjustment planes (2) to help the reinforcement fit the elbow and knee shapes, with at least the outer layer (3) of the reinforcement being made from water- and dirt-proof textile fabric that is resistant to wear and tear and the inner layer of the reinforcement enabling to connect the reinforcement with carrier fabric seamlessly by means of lamination or gluing.
