The present invention relates to new herbal formulations, particularly useful in the topical treatment of skin and oromucosal wounds. Formulations can be either a solution or a gel form consisting of a Polyhexamethylene biguanide as an antimicrobial agent, and Poloxamer as an emulsifying agent and an ingredient compromised of at least one herbal ingredient (Comfrey Symphytum officinale L. extract and/or Commiphora molmol tincture), which presents analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory effects to improve the wound care. |
