PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having a novel structure with a fuse function.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 includes an electronic component main body 10 and a fuse mechanism 20. The fuse mechanism 20 is provided in the electronic component main body 10, and has a first internal electrode 21, a second internal electrode 22, and a connecting section 23. The first internal electrode 21 and the second internal electrode 22 have respective ends facing each other. The connecting section 23 electrically connects the respective ends of the first internal electrode 21 and the second internal electrode 22. The connecting section 23 is made up of a plurality of conductive particles 23a that are provided so as to have contact with each other. |
