摘要 [Problem] To provide a hydraulic damper conducive to size reduction, such that supplying of hydraulic fluid thereto is facilitated and fluctuations in the pressing force of an accumulator thereof are smaller. [Solution] When an external vibration force acts and causes reciprocating motion of a piston (14), the pressure in either of one of fluid chambers (15, 16) increases such that hydraulic fluid flows from that fluid chamber toward the other fluid chamber through poppet valves (12, 13) and an annular fluid chamber (9), and a damping force is generated by way of the poppet valves (12, 13) as the hydraulic fluid is flowing, thus suppressing vibration of the structure for which vibration is to be dampened. If thermal expansion of the hydraulic fluid filled in the fluid chambers (15, 16) occurs or if one of the fluid chambers has a lower pressure due to the volume thereof increasing from piston reciprocation, the stored pressure of the gas spring in the accumulator container (17) causes a pressure regulating piston (19) to move appropriately so as to absorb the fluid pressure changes and keep the fluid pressure constant.
