PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front surface protective plate for a touch panel integrated display device in which wiring and electrodes of a touch panel are integrated with the front surface protective plate for a display device and that has a structure capable of reducing the number of processes and reducing costs, and to provide a display device including the front surface protective plate.SOLUTION: A front surface protective plate 10 for a touch panel integrated display device includes: a light shielding layer 3 composing a decorative part 2 and wiring 4 on the light shielding layer, in an opaque area A2 on a first surface S1 of a translucent substrate 1; and a first electrode 5a extending in an X direction, a second electrode 5b extending in a Y direction and an insulator layer 6 interposed between both electrodes at an intersection part 5C of the first electrode and the second electrode and insulating both electrodes from each other, in a display area A1. The insulator layer is formed integrally with at least one or more insulating layers among layers composing the decorative part, such as the light shielding layer, with the same material and in contact with a surface capable of being integrally formed. A display device is obtained by combining the front surface protective plate and a display panel. |
