The invention relates to a battery (10) for a motor vehicle, which is simple and inexpensive to produce. The battery (10) according to the invention comprises a connecting device (44, 46) for connecting the battery (10) to the motor vehicle, a plurality of battery cells (22) and a contacting device (36) for electrically coupling the battery cells (22) to the connecting device (44, 46). The contacting device (36) comprises a first and a second plate-shaped electrical guide element (40, 42), each of which extends from the battery connecting device (44, 46) to each of the battery cells (22). Both guide elements (40, 42) are connected to each other via an electrically insulating layer, for example a film. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a battery (10). |
