PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform re-printing with more stable quality compared to initial printing.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has a function to store job data on a job that has been executed for printing, and re-print the job on the basis of the job data, and includes: an image forming unit that performs printing on a sheet on the basis of the job data; an image reading unit that reads an image on the sheet printed by the image forming unit; a storage unit that stores the job data; and a control unit that stores the image read by the image reading unit during the execution of printing of the job, as a reference image, in the storage unit while associating data on the reference image with the job data. The control unit compares the print image read by the image reading unit with the reference image at the start of the execution of re-printing, and performs operation related to image quality adjustment in the printing according to a result of the comparison, so as to easily perform the image quality adjustment and save materials during image quality correction. |
