A carrier 2 including at least two thermally insulated walls 10, a thermally insulated base 20, a liner 30 defining part of an interior surface of the carrier, a cooling element 50 located behind the liner, and an external frame 1. The external frame is integrally formed with the thermally insulated walls and/or base. The cooling element may be a eutectic plate, and the carrier may further include a lid. The walls and base may be formed from phenolic board. The liner may be moulded and arranged to fit adjacent to the walls and/or base and hold the walls and/or base in position. A secondary liner 32 may be provided, with the cooling element being situated above the first liner 30 and below the secondary liner. The carrier may be of use in transporting frozen food products from a central warehouse to a collection location. |
