The panel (7, fig 3) comprises first and second vertical edges, a top edge and a bottom edge, and a leg for applying a vertical force, the leg having an adjustment position in which the force is applied by a spring 23 and a load bearing position where the force is applied by a damper 21, the spring having a larger spring force than the damper. In the adjustment position the panel may be spaced from the damper with the spring extending between them, and in the load bearing position the panel may contact the damper. A cam action may pull the vertical edges of adjacent panels together. The vertical edges may have grooves for adhesive or filler. The panel may be a laminate having facing (11, fig 3) and insulation (13, fig 3) layers, and integrated conduit, wiring or pipework. Also claimed is a modular wall comprising two of the panels, and a method of erecting the panel or the wall. |
