PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection head having a muffler function, capable of preventing scattering of a sound absorbing material filled in the interior of a muffler when discharging a fire-extinguishing gas from the injection head.SOLUTION: An injection head 1 having a muffler function, includes a nozzle part 3 for injecting a high pressure fire-extinguishing gas and including a muffler part 7 filled with a sound absorbing material 6 formed of a mesh material made by knitting a wire therein. The mesh material to be the sound absorbing material 6, filled in the muffler part 7 is made by using one or a plurality of wires to knit one of the wire as a warp and the wire as a weft with one wire, so that even if the sound absorbing material 6 receives the high pressure fire-extinguishing gas flow injected from the nozzle part 3, the wire as the warp or the wire as the weft formed of one wire constituting the mesh material to be the sound absorbing material 6 prevents loosening of knitting. |
