The invention provide an Al-Mn aluminium alloy plate for a large-sized rectangular battery case having advantages of good molding performance, excellent continuous oscillation type laser welding performance,high strength, and ability of stamping and processing. The aluminium alloy plate comprises Mn in a range of from 0.5-1.5wt%, Cu in a range of from 0.4-1.2wt%, Mg lower than 0.2wt%, Si lower than 0.6 wt%, Fe lower than 0.8wt%. The Si/Fe weight ratio is lower than 3.0, and the residual is constituted by the Al and the inevitable foreign matters. The O materials (annealing state materials) and the H materials (processing hardening state materials) can reach the above mentioned objects. Ti, B, Zr,Cr,Zn used as the inevitable materials or as the additional elements are limited to be the Ti lower than 0.02wt%, the B lower than 20 wt ppm,the Zr lower than 0.15wt%, Cr 0.4 wt%, and the Zn lower than 0.3wt%. |
