A method of recovery from occurrence of an abnormal state during a handsfree phone speech is provided which is capable of improving safety such as driving safty. When an abnormality in communications occurs in a short-distance wireless communication line between a handsfree unit and a mobile phone unit, the communication abnormality is detected by a mobile phone unit controller in the mobile phone unit. The mobile phone unit controller performs restoration and/or emergency measures including re-connection of a short-distance wireless communication line with the handsfree unit and of a communication line with a telephone set of a party on the other end of a phone over a telephone network. |
