Provided is an inkjet recording device that can prevent ink within or near a nozzle of an inkjet head from drying during standby. In the inkjet recording device, in which drying air is blown into a space where an inkjet head (56) is disposed to dehumidify the space, the inkjet head (56) is caused to move to a standby position during standby and a distal end portion of the inkjet head (56) is covered with a cap (200). The distal end portion of the inkjet head (56) is accommodated in the cap (200) via an entrance portion (202) provided on a side surface of the cap (200). The inkjet head (56) has a covering member (70) that covers the entrance portion (202) of the cap (200). When the inkjet head (56) is positioned at the standby position, the covering member (70) is disposed to lay over the side surface of the cap (200) provided with the entrance portion (202) so as to cover the entrance portion (202) of the cap (200). |
