PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire which can effectively prevent splice opening of an inner liner layer.SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire, a composite sheet 13 is formed where a film layer 11 comprising a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition, in which an elastomer is dispersed in a thermoplastic resin, and a rubber layer 12 comprising a rubber composition are laminated on each other, both ends of the composite sheet 13 are joined to each other, in a state where the film layer 11 is arranged inside a tire and the rubber layer 12 is arranged outside the tire, to form an inner liner layer 7, an unvulcanized tire is formed where the inner liner layer 7 is arranged on the inner wall surface of the tire, and the unvulcanized tire is vulcanized. Both ends 13a, 13b of the composite sheet 13 are turned to the inside of the tire and stuck to each other in an overlapped state so that the ends of the rubber layer 12 abut on each other. Both ends 13a, 13b stuck to each other in the overlapped state are brought into a state where both ends are folded down in the circumferential direction of the composite sheet 13. |
