PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door closer device which can quickly cancel a release restraining condition.SOLUTION: A speed reduction mechanism 33 set a motor 321 into operation while reducing the rotating speed thereof, and transmits the operation via an operating force transmission passage to a ratchet 9 to bring the ratchet 9 into motion from an engagement position where it engages with a latch 7 to a release position where it disengages from the latch 7. A cancelling mechanism cuts off the operating force transmission passage to enable the ratchet 9 to return to the engagement position, when the ratchet 9 is in the condition of being restrained at the release position with the stop of the motor 321. |
