This sensor is provided with: a generation unit for generating a prescribed object to be detected; a detection unit for detecting the object to be detected generated by the generation unit; and a substrate having the generation unit and the detection unit provided thereto. In the substrate, a first section having the generation unit provided thereto and a second section having the detection unit provided thereto are integrated. The substrate is a flexible substrate having a curved shape or a folded shape in which the first section surface having the generation unit provided thereto faces the second section surface having the detection unit provided thereto. The rear surface of the first section surface having, provided thereto, an electronic component including the generation unit, and/or the rear surface of the second section surface having, provided thereto, an electronic component including the detection unit have/has, attached thereto, a plate-shaped support member for keeping the surfaces having the electronic components provided thereto flat. |
