PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spline broach which can avoid overcutting of the inside surface on the depth side of a groove when groove processing is performed with the spline blade for a groove and hole inner peripheral processing part.SOLUTION: A broach is provided with: a groove processing part where spline blades are consecutively arranged along the axial direction of a broach body to make a cutting target material undergo groove processing and a groove; and hole inner peripheral processing part, provided at the rear stage of the groove processing part, where spline blades and circular blades are mixedly arranged along the axial direction to make a cutting target material undergo the groove processing and the inner peripheral processing of a preparatory hole. A tooth thickness Sb of the spline blade 12a arranged in the groove and hole inner peripheral processing part is set smaller than a tooth thickness Sa of the spline blade 11a arranged in the groove processing part. |
