PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in comfort when recover from phase short circuit control in a vehicle including plural motors.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus, for use in controlling a vehicle having plural three-phase AC motors and a power converter including first and second switching elements respectively corresponding individually to three phases of each of the plural three-phase AC motors, includes: second control means for controlling the power converter so as to fall in a given state where one of the first and second switching elements are all turned off, with at least one of the other of the first and second switching elements turned on, in a case where determination means determines that a vehicle is stopped; and third control means for outputting a torque instruction value after given time has elapsed since output of a recovery instruction signal in a case where a power converter in a given state is recovered to normal control in response to a given recovery instruction signal. |
