PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing control device capable of preventing a lock member from retracting from a recessed portion and being brought into a lock releasing state against control, when an engine temperature is less than a prescribed value, and the control for holding a lock state is executed.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing timing control device A includes a housing 1, an inner rotor 2, a fluid pressure chamber 3, a vane 5, an advance chamber and a retard chamber, and an intermediate lock mechanism 8. The intermediate lock mechanism 8 includes: lock member 9b and 10b retractable to the inner rotor 2, recessed portions 9c and 10c formed on the inner rotor 2 so that the lock members 9b and 10b enter recessed portions 9c and 10c, respectively; compression coil springs 9d and 10d for urging the lock members 9b and 10b; and a lock state holding member 14c for inhibiting releasing of a lock state when a temperature of an engine B is less than a prescribed value in a lock state in which the lock members 9b and 10b are fitted to the recessed portions 9c and 10c to restrict a relative rotation phase, and permitting the releasing of the lock state when the temperature is a prescribed value or more. |
