PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a mobile object traveling on a predetermined route, of a state of a stopped vehicle at a traveling destination.SOLUTION: A transit support system according to the present invention includes: a first terminal device that is mounted on a first mobile object moving on a public road at a predetermined route and periodically transmits to a transit support device, travel information including speed and position information of the first mobile object and a current time; a second terminal device that is mounted on a second mobile object that is a mobile object other than the first mobile object and transmits traveling information of the second mobile object to the transit support device whenever the second mobile object transitions between a stop state and a traveling state; and the transit support device that identifies the second mobile object in a stop state on the public road on which the first mobile object is to travel, identifies the first mobile object approaching to the identified second mobile object, transmits the traveling information of the identified second mobile object to the first terminal device mounted on the identified first mobile object, and causes the first terminal device to display the traveling information of the identified second mobile object. |
