PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension which allows an actuator element mounted in a head area to be prevented from being contaminated by a slider adhesive and allows a head slider to be prevented from interfering with wiring passing in a slider mounting area.SOLUTION: In a substrate 1 for suspension, a spacer 60 supporting a head slider 112 has a spacer wiring part 47 which is formed of a wiring layer 40 and includes a wiring layer opening 47a. An upper surface 81a of a part 81 located above the spacer wiring part 47, of a second protection layer 80 is arranged in a higher position above a metal support layer 20 than an upper surface 51a of a part 51 located above wiring 43, of a first protection layer 50. The spacer 60 has a filled recess 61 which has a shape corresponding to the wiring layer opening 47a and is filled with a slider adhesive 114. |
