摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst regenerative treatment device capable of curbing progress of thermal degradation of a NOx storage reduction (NSR) catalyst.SOLUTION: A regenerative degradation prediction treatment section M28 calculates a degree of progress of thermal degradation ΔCas of a NSR catalyst during a predetermined period T1 on the assumption that sulfur poisoning regenerative treatment is executed during the predetermined period T1. A normal degradation prediction treatment section M30 calculates the degree of progress of the thermal degradation ΔCan of the NSR catalyst during the predetermined period T1 on the assumption that the sulfur poisoning regenerative treatment is not executed during the predetermined period T1. A regenerative request determination treatment section M16 determines that sulfur poisoning regenerative treatment is required when a difference between the degree of progress of the thermal degradation ΔCas with the regenerative treatment and the degree of progress of the thermal degradation ΔCan without the regenerative treatment is not more than a predetermined degree. A sulfur poisoning regenerative treatment section M14 executes the sulfur poisoning regenerative treatment of the NSR catalyst on the basis of a determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
