PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load in processing to display an image concerning a display device including multiple display parts.SOLUTION: A head-mounted display device 100 includes: a left optical image display part 28 for displaying an image in response to the left eye of a user; and a right optical image display part 26 for displaying an image in response to the right eye of the user. An image processing section incorporated in a control device 10 divides a display target image and outputs a left eye image and a right eye image including the divided images to the left optical image display part 28 and the right optical image display part 26. The left eye image and the right eye image include image areas constituted by the images divided by the image processing section and non-image areas not including the divided images. The state of the non-image area of one of the left eye image and the right eye image corresponds to the state of the other image area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
