PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type printing equipment in which an operator can confirm a printing content even under a dark environment.SOLUTION: A thermal printer 1 comprises: a thermal head 21 for printing data on a sheet 5; and an LED 53 or an LED 90 for irradiating a printing surface of the sheet 5 after printed. By lighting the LED 53 or the LED 90, an operator can confirm a printed content even under a dark environment such as midnight or early morning.
