A system for hydraulically driving a construction machine comprises: first and second pumps driven by an engine; a boom control valve disposed on a circulation line extending from the first pump and connected with a boom cylinder via a boom-raising supply line and a boom-lowering supply line; a first intake line for guiding hydraulic oil from a tank to the first pump; a second intake line for guiding hydraulic oil from the tank to a second pump; a regeneration line that leads from the boom control valve or the boom-raising supply line to the first intake line and/or the second intake line, and to which hydraulic oil discharged from the boom cylinder flows; a check valve provided upstream from the position where the regeneration line is joined in the first intake line and/or the second intake line; and a relief valve provided to a relief line communicating with the regeneration line. |
