Provided are a method, device and network apparatus for realizing unicast-based time synchronization. A process executed by any network apparatus in a network comprises respectively performing the following operations on each of neighbor network apparatuses of the network apparatus: negotiating with the neighbor network apparatuses for unicast time synchronization; and selecting a port state, and synchronizing with the neighboring network apparatuses. Compared to the related art, the present invention provides a unicast mode according to a practical requirement of network deployment, controls the intercommunication speed of packets by constraining an interval requested by unicast, and finally integrates unicast encapsulation into a mature multicast topology computation model, thereby effectively addressing the problem regarding unicast deployment in a looped network. The solution not only satisfies a requirement for a unicast looped network but also meets a network topology requirement for a hybrid unicast-multicast application. |
