PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter of empty cans and empty pet bottles capable of processing counting by supplying empty cans and empty pet bottles in a mass state.SOLUTION: A counter comprises: a hopper 1 into which empty cans and empty pet bottles can be input in a mass state; an alignment unit 2 which aligns empty cans and empty pet bottles input into the hopper 1; a counting sensor 3 which counts empty cans and empty pet bottles aligned by the alignment unit 2. The alignment unit 2 is constituted by including: a drum-shaped rotor 10 which rotates at a position where the rotor faces a discharge port 6 of the hopper 1, and on an outer periphery of which end parts of the input empty cans and empty pet bottles are mounted when the empty cans and empty pet bottles are aligned; and a first alignment plate 11 and a second alignment plate 12 which are arranged between the discharge port 6 of the hopper 1 and the rotor 10, and align the empty cans and empty pet bottles, which are input into the hopper 1, along a rotation direction F of the rotor 10. |
