PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool capable of shortening the full length of an anvil and being downsized.SOLUTION: An impact driver 1 includes: a spindle 41 rotated by a motor 3; a hammer 51 supported by the spindle 41 so as to be movable in a front-to-back direction; an anvil 52 supported so as to be rotatable substantially coaxially with respect to the spindle 41, and provided with an attachment hole 52a, at a front end, into which a tip tool is attached; and an impact mechanism 5 for transmitting rotation of the spindle 41 from a claw part 51a of the hammer 51 to a blade part 52c of the anvil 52, as rotary impact force. Fitting a fitting shaft 52b formed so as to protrude at a rear end of the anvil 52, into a fitting hole 41c formed at a front end of the spindle 41 makes the anvil 52 be supported by the spindle 41 so as to be rotatable substantially coaxially, and the front end of the spindle 41 is located ahead of a rear end of the blade part 52c of the anvil 52. |
