PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a second control unit to appropriately determine whether to discharge power stored in a capacitor or not.SOLUTION: A power supply control system controls power interchange between a motor generator and a direct current power supply, i.e. a secondary battery. The power supply control system comprises: a converter including a reactor; an inverter; a circuit switching unit for switching electric connection between the direct current power supply and the converter; a capacitor connected in parallel with the direct current power supply; a first control unit for controlling the circuit switching unit; and a second control unit for controlling the converter and the inverter. If communication with the first control unit is cut off and if the direction of current flowing through the reactor is the direction from the capacitor to the motor generator and power stored in the capacitor is discharged, the second control unit discharge power stored in the capacitor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
