PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens capable of shortening the time required for the initialization of an interchangeable lens, and a camera body.SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens includes: a mounting part on which a camera body is removably mounted; a driven member whose state is changed by receiving of driving force; an initialization part performing initialization processing on the driven part; and a first transmission part transmitting signals indicating the state of the initialization processing to the camera body. Once the initialization processing has been completed, the first transmission part transmits signals indicating the completion of the processing, and, until the initialization processing has been completed, transmits signals indicating that the initialization processing is not completed. |
