PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a suitable printer which is present close to an operator to easily and simply perform printing.SOLUTION: A portable printer 100 includes a platen roller 111, a thermal line head 112, a control circuit 143, and a wireless tag for a printer T which is wire-connected to the control circuit 143 so that information can be transmitted thereto and received therefrom and stores printer discrimination information P which can specify the portable printer 100. The portable printer 100 is specified using the printer discrimination information P obtained by a wireless communication between a wireless tag for a printer T and an operation terminal 200. The printer obtains print data transmitted from the operation terminal 200 with a second antenna 206A and performs printing of the obtained print data on printing paper S. |
