In the event of fluid egress, and especially in the case of toxic fluids, it must be possible to ensure that a fluid feed can be shut off reliably and quickly. After such an event, it is necessary to ensure personally that the danger in the vicinity of the fluid feed has passed. To that end, known quick-closure valves provide for automatic resetting. The present invention, by contrast, provides for rapid shut-off of the fluid feed, which can be reset only manually. This guarantees that a person is present on resumption of operation and can form a picture of the situation after the event. This is achieved with a quick-closure valve having a manually pre-tensionable tensioning spindle which is held by an electromagnetically releasable magnet spindle. After the event, which allows the magnet spindle to release the tensioning spindle, the tensioning spindle can be brought back into engagement with the magnet spindle, and the fluid flow reopened, only by manual pressure. |
