The object of the invention is a unit for picking up ploughing markers from the edges of the road. The unit is to be installed on a car trailer. The unit comprises a steel arm 9, 10, 11 connected to the trunk element. At the top of the arm is a "gripping claw" 12, which picks the ploughing markers standing at the road edge up into the trailer. The arm 9, 10, 11 is moved by means of a small hydraulic power mechanism, which is petrol-driven. In the arm are hydraulic cylinders 16, 13, 14, which perform the movements required by the arm. Ploughing markers have hitherto been merely picked up manually by with the aid of various [lacunae]. The work has been slow and dangerous form the point of view of road safety. The problem can be solved by means of an automatic unit described above, since the working efficiency is increased many time compared with previous methods.
