摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance whiteness and image density, in the title sheet having an image receiving layer consisting of a dyeable resin dyed with a heat- sublimable dye and pigment, by adding a predetermined amount of titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide to the dyeable resin as pigment. CONSTITUTION:A sublimable dye is transferred to the image receiving layer 3a of an image receiving sheet 3 from the transfer ink layer 2a of an ink sheet 2 by the action of a thermal head 1. The image receiving layer 3 is constituted of a dyeable resin, for example, polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl acetate and pigment. This pigment is used by adding 50-50 pts.wt. of titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide to 100 pts.wt. of the dyeable resin. At this time, as titanium dioxide, both of anatase and rutile types may be used and the particle size thereof is set to 0.05-1mum and the particle size of zinc oxide is set to 0.1-1.5mum.
