Self-adjusting clutch (1) for a motor vehicle, having a pressure plate (7) which can be displaced axially by an actuating member (2), in order to clamp in a clutch plate (8) between the pressure plate (7) and a back-pressure member (10) in a torque-transmitting manner, and having an adjusting ring (13) which is supported on a cover (5) in such a way that, if a relative rotation is performed with respect to the cover, it moves closer to the pressure plate for renewed orientation of the actuating member, wherein a stop (21) of this type is provided between the adjusting ring (13) and the cover, which stop (21) causes an oblique position of the pressure plate (7) relative to a transverse plane which is oriented orthogonally with respect to the rotational axis during movement of the pressure plate onto the clutch plate (8). |
