A steering wheel assembly for a motor vehicle includes a steering wheel having a rim, a hub, and spokes connecting the rim and hub. An airbag module is disposed on the hub. Horn activating switches are disposed on the plurality of spokes. A bezel is disposed adjacent to the airbag module for actuating the horn, the bezel being movably mounted to the steering wheel to contact any of the horn activating switches. At least a portion of the bezel is axially movable relative to the steering wheel to contact any of the horn activating switches, whereby a motor vehicle operator may actuate the horn by pressing on the bezel without contacting any portion of the airbag module. |
