[Class 44] A key pouch comprises a flat case 1 of pliable material open at one end, and a key holder 6 movable towards and away from the open end by means of a lazy-tongs system of links 3 carried by a supporting member 11. at the opposite end of the case. The lowest pair of links are pivotally connected to finger pieces 9 sliding in a channel formed integrally with the support 11. The lazy-tongs is normally held in closed position by a spring 15. For temporarily holding the lazy-tongs extended for using a key, a spring detent 18, Fig. 8, is carried by each finger piece 9, and lies between the latter and the supporting plate 11. Detents 18 have off-set heads 21 which when the finger pieces are pressed fully inwardly, snap into an opening 26, Fig. 7, in plate 11, so holding the lazy-tongs extended. By pressing in the heads 21, the lazy-tongs is released. to retract the keys.</p> |
