The power cable comprises a connector for connection to an electricity supply and an elongate cable arrangement extending from the connector to a distal end for connection to a powered device. The elongate cable has an inner sheath 18 for housing conductors 10, 11, 12 and an outer sheath 20 transversely spaced from and not secured to the inner sheath. This arrangement is stated to improve safety in as much as the outer sheath can forestall damage, e.g. by cutting, to the inner sheath and the conductors therein. |
