An exhaust section for a gas turbine power plant including: an exhaust duct 204 in fluid communication with exhaust gas 203 from a gas turbine engine, wherein the exhaust gas flows through the exhaust duct along a flow direction; a catalyst supporting platform spanning a flow passage in the exhaust duct such that the exhaust gas passes through the platform, wherein the platform includes apertures having catalyst coated surfaces and the catalyst supporting platform has a front face which is no perpendicular to the flow direction.
