摘要 Method for determining the viscosity, or an associated variable, for a fluid, or for microscopic particles (3) in a fluid (2). According to the method, at least a magnetic particle is moved in an inhomogeneous magnetic field (6) and set oscillating by temporally alternating the magnetic field. The amplitude and phase of the resultant particle oscillation is measured and from it the viscosity or an associated fluid variable is determined. An independent claim is made for a device for use in determining the viscosity, or an associated variable, for a fluid, or for microscopic particles in a fluid.
