Provided is a heat treatment apparatus that enables heat treatment cases to be efficiently unloaded from the bottom of a furnace, enabling productivity to improve. The heat treatment apparatus (10) continuously heats articles to be treated with heat, which are accommodated in heat treatment cases (5), by loading the heat treatment cases (5) inside of the furnace from the top of the furnace, conveying the inside of the furnace from top to bottom, and unloading the heat treatment cases from the bottom of the furnace. Only when in a prescribed phase are the heat treatment cases (5) placed on a rotating table (8) provided with a case passage opening (4) through which the heat treatment cases (5) pass, and held by a lifter (9) in a state in which the heat treatment cases (5), which are held by the rotating table (8), have risen up from the rotating table (8). In said state, after the rotating table (8) has been rotated in such a manner that the heat treatment cases (5) to be unloaded have reached a phase that allows the heat treatment cases (5) to pass through the case passage opening (4), the heat treatment cases (5) to be unloaded are unloaded after passing through the case passage opening (4) by lowering the lifter (9). |
