PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate member that can facilitate attachment of an attachment object such as throating, and a column exterior structure.SOLUTION: A first substrate member 1A comprises: a facing surface part 11 that faces a flange part 5b of an H-shaped steel material 5; locking parts 12 that are positioned on back surfaces on both the sides of the flange part 5b to sandwich the flange part 5b between themselves and the facing parts 11; an attachment part 13 for screwing a throating 2 without a prepared hole; and a second attachment part 14 that has an attachment part orthogonal to the attachment part 13 on the outside of the locking part 12. The first substrate member 1A is formed by applying press working to one steel plate. |
